Sculptures of the Holy Trinity – This work was paid for and completed by the residents of the city in 1895 to commemorate a unique event – in 1886, the tower of the local church was hit by ball lightning. The sculptures dominate the local square.
Diakovce Thermal Baths - 3 km from Šaľa, the naturally heated water rises up 780 meters at a temperature of 38°C. The baths include a number of swimming pools, on-site accommodations, restaurants, a dance club and football and volleyball fields.
Lake Kráľová nad Váhom – 4 km from Šaľa, this man-made lake is about 12 km long and 2 km wide. It is a popular spot for swimming, boating, windsurfing, waterskiing and fishing.
