Zlatoust (Chrysostom) - a city in Russia located in the Chelyabinsk region. The city was founded simultaneously with the ironworks in 1754 and named in honor of St. John Chrysostom. The city is situated on the border of Europe and Asia, on the banks of the river Ai. The city is surrounded by mountains of the Southern Urals. There used to be a weapons factory in Zlatoust, producing various types of cold steel arms (swords, sabers, daggers, knives). It is the motherland of a rare craft - steel engraving.
