The clinic is situated 5 miles north of Galway City. There is a bus route from the city to Parkmore every 30 minutes. Galway has an abundance of hotels, but the Clayton Hotel is the closest to the clinic and is less than one mile away. Bed and breakfast is approximately 78 euros per night, but price is dependent upon season.

Galway City is known as the City of the Tribes, due to the 14 Norman families who settled here in the 12-14th century. Galway is a historic city and is steeped in culture. It is a very vibrant and popular tourist center.
Tourist attractions in the town and surrounding areas
The Galway Races are held in July every year, as well as the Galway Arts Festival. There is a popular Oyster Festival in September and, as it is situated on the west coast, there are many beaches and water activities to enjoy.
