Tourist Attractions
The Town of Bílovec is situated in Nový Jičín County in the Moravian-Silesian Region. It lies 280 m above sea-level and spreads on the banks of the Bílovka River. The first written information about the town comes from the year of 1329. Bílovec was extensively damaged at the end of WW II. Unfortunately, the follow-up reconstruction of the town and the construction of new cement buildings changed the character of the old center. Nevertheless in 1992, several buildings in the center have become a protected historical zone.
